That's usually a sign of a slow refrigerant leak. A regas will fix it temporarily, but we'd rather find and fix the leak so it doesn't keep happening.
Usually, yes. On cars with dual-zone climate control it's often a failed blend flap or blend door actuator, the small motor that controls how much air passes over the heater core on that side. On a single-zone system an uneven split more often points to a low refrigerant charge or a blocked evaporator. Either way it's a diagnostic job rather than a guess, and we check the whole system before quoting.
