AEQ, formerly Auto Electrics QLD, has been servicing the Sunshine Coast since 2005. What started as an auto electrical specialist has grown into a full workshop covering mechanical, auto electrical and air conditioning under one roof, and it's rare to find all three done properly in the one place. Our nine-person team works out of our Woombye workshop, keeping everyone from daily drivers to commercial fleets on the road.
We've built long-term relationships with commercial and government clients including Sunshine Coast Council and Unitywater, work that doesn't come from one good service, it comes from years of reliable, compliant vehicle care. We also take on the specialist jobs, particularly in air conditioning, that other mechanics, dealerships and workshops send our way when they don't have the equipment or experience to handle them, from a failing compressor through to a full dash-out evaporator job.

We start by getting to the bottom of the problem. Once we know what's going on, we walk you through the options, explain everything clearly, and get stuck in. That might mean repairing a clutch, tracing an electrical fault other workshops gave up on, or wiring a caravan so it's safe to tow. Our focus is always on fixing it properly the first time, so you're not back with the same issue down the track.
